What’s On In Malta| July, A Boutique Hotel & A Rich Cultural Calendar

We can pretty much guarantee the weather in July and August; hot Summery days and warm sultry nights. This translates to a rich outdoor cultural calendar which leaves no taste un-catered for.

Year round there are festivals of almost every food you can imagine, local producers taking pride and coming together to celebrate their wares; bread, olives, strawberries, chocolate…..

The theatre scene is buoyant, in July the MADC put on a Shakespeare play in the gardens of the President and the Arts Festival takes of the streets of Valletta and across the water in Sliema.

Within a minute’s walk of our luxury boutique hotel, you could be witnessing a traditional festa, tasting wines at one of the festivals in the city’s gardens, hearing Joseph Calleja belt out his favourites or join in the Isle of MTV fun with thousands of others or have a wonderfully relaxed evening at the Malta Jazz Festival.

At Casa Ellul, we can arrange tickets, taxis and picnics or restaurant bookings for you to make the most the the local area in the evenings. We can even organise boat trips; why not have a party on board and dance on the deck?
